Our purpose is:
For people to search out the Lord and study the scriptures.
To equip people to serve their neighbours and the community
To create opportunities to speak the Gospel
To encourage people to show obedience in Baptism
This Purpose Statement has been based on the following verses:
Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.’
Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
